Nice beach but not for swimming, water is shallow and undeep. Beach itself is very nice with many resorts.

It is good to be here but this is too crowded. The hostels along the beach have probably made it that way. But the sunset here is pretty good

Not a pleasent place for swimmig, the other sidd if the island is much better. However, this is a place that between tve main city Thong Sala and the full moon party Hat- Rin. Whats make it sometimes a prefect location to camp if you are on scooter.

I am partial to Baan Tai because we spent nine days in a great spot on the beach. The water is quite shallow in August, but that made for a fun time exploring the shells and sea creatures with my two year old. The beach was quiet and low-key. I noticed families rather than partyers which is just what we... More

this long beach is great fro relaxing and to get away from haad rin. its the perfect place to recover after days of intensive partying. many cheap bungalows avaiable to sleep in. you can easily reach haad rin by motorbike or taxi.

Baan Tai is lined by resorts and beach bars and at a few km long is perfect for a lazy stroll in the day or evening. The sand isn't the best quality and there is some damage to some sections of the beach from storms but the water is very shallow and ideal for activities like Paddleboarding (available for rent... A nice, long and clean beach a bit too shallow for my taste. Nice resorts along the beach to grab a bite or have a drink.

the sand is pretty hard and with the slow moving tide the water isnt the clearest, beautiful sunsets but in the day you can walk out for miles in the shalow, good view of samui across the water and good for paddle boarding but pretty unimpressive copared to a few other beaches on pgangan and the surrounding islands.

Its a nice beach for sunsets, but terrible to swim at. And the music around can destroy your sleep at night. Even late night.
