Kantiang Bay can be found towards the south of the island on Ko Lanta's west coast. The Bay is a little-known, beach-lover's haven where you can truly relax and soak up the sunshine and beach-life of an island paradise. There's plenty of things to do - live a castaway dream, paddle in the warm, crystal-clear waters of the Andaman Sea, learn to scuba dive, or just make Kantiang Bay your sun-kissed home for a while.

Best part of Lanta. Feels like A paradise where time has stopped. Some restaurants and bars, only few shops. Lanta’s only 5 star resort.

Great chilled, clean, not too commercialized beach, towards the southwest end of Koh Lanta. Very nice - I will try to find a place to stay here next trip.

It’s a very long and quite wide beach and not to crowded! Came here to watch the sunset a few times and they were really nice. There is a few small cute bars and restaurant at the end of the beach, worth a visit!

Bakantiang beach is very nice and one of the best in Ko Lanta, rocks in the sea are disturbing a little if you want to swim but in the center of the beach it is ok,i strongly suggest to go and see

This is one of our favorite beaches on the island. On the furthest southend of the beach, you'll come across Cliff Sunset View restaurant where you can get amazing views of the beach and bay from above. It's also a good place to catch sunset.

We travelled here by taxi and it was well worth a visit. Warm clear waters and long sandy beach with no stones. We practically had the beach to ourselves. There are rocks at either end but the middle section was perfect. No shade on this...More

Kantaing Bay is a nice, quiet bay to lay in the sun and watch the day go by. The southern half of the bay has good swimming and Same Same but different is there for some shade and an ice cold drink.

There are several daytrips boats which can take you to other islands from Kantiang Bay. We stopped for a short dive at Ko Ngai, and got off at Ko Muk before the boat continued to Ko Kradan. Just ask at the hotel.
