They just basically showed how the coconut sugar was made and of course bought some. A little tour of the place. Some items were a bit pricey.

It was very interesting to see the process of making palm sugar. They offer lots of hands-on activities (like grating coconut and stirring pots) and free tastes. The palm sugar, which looks like blobs of fudge, is not sure expensive, either, and makes a nice...More

It was interesting to see how the coconut sugar is made. Sweet as and so nice. Free taste tests are a must!

This is an open air ‘factory’ making sugar and ‘fudge’. This is rather yummy. There are a lot of products derived from the coconut. This appeared to be the stop for all the tourists en route to the floating market and in that respect somewhat...More

This is a stop over for 15-20 mins in the floating market tour. Its good. Lots of coconut trees. You can drink coconut juice here or can have coconut icecream too.

This stop broke up the drive to the floating market. You got to see the many ways one uses a coconut in Thailand. Be it sugar, serving ware, drinks - they show it all. There is a shop here. This is not a destination activity.
