Quite enjoyable place in this hill station. You need to make a separate trip to Palani to visit this place.

The observatory has four different telescopes.Students should visit here.There was also numerous greenery in the observatory.

The observatory has a nice museum which has on display telescopes, a real time display projecting sunspots on a screen, a display of the refraction of light into the rainbow of colors, a lot of posters shedding light on things related to astronomy and TVs...More

Very disappointing, as entire area is restricted for the tourist and you can only visit the museum, and that's too is not so great.
