This place a is a drive away from Kodai. Because of being hilly in area, the short trip of 11 kms around might cost you bomb. The view of the lake and Western Ghats is majestic. It is a beautiful climb up this mountain, you need to go early otherwise the mist comes in preventing a view! Long hike, at least 6 hours (up and down) not suitable for unexperienced hikers, with a steep climb at the end. Not allowed to enter this area without permission from the Forest Office!

Its a beautiful place for trekkers and travellers. But the place is not maintain clean. But the view of the place is simply superb and mind blowing. Natural Scenic with the essence of floral.

Beautiful Place and a good trekking experience too enjoy, though this place is not proper maintain and its not clean but over all people are good over here and one who like trekking can go and enjoy the beautiful view.

Perumal Peak is a highest peak at Kodaikanal in the Perumalmalai hills, that are a part of the greater Western Ghats mountain range in Tamil Nadu, having an elevation of 2,440 meters (8,005 ft). If you want to trek, this is the place for you. You can see many scenic views from this peak. The city and the lakes. Go with friends and family. if you enjoy walking in nature and seek some adventure, you are at the right place. Make sure that you return before 4:00PM during peak season, as it get dark... More
