Nice temple to visit, we went there in the morning and the view of Palani from here was great. Nice temple with lot of Kurunji plants. Even though the temple is small, It was very calm in the morning and our dharshan was great. Try to visit in the morning or in the evening time.

I liked the short drive to the temple from Villpatti. Gave us some kind of a pilgrimage sense. Though I am a catholic I entered the temple and found myself praying with my friends. You also find the Kurinji plant inside the temple and it blooms once in 12 years. A must especially for my hindu friends!

The temple right on top of Kodai is also the home of the "Kurunji" flower which blossoms once in twelve years (Next year of blossoming 2018). if there is no mist, on one side you can see Palani temple (60 kms away) & other side you can see Kodai city

We visited Kurinji Andavar Temple, Kodaikanal in the morning. This is a famous shrine dedicated to Lord Muruga. In Tamil literature Kurinji means 'hill region' and Andavar means 'God'. Hence Lord Muruga is referred as 'God of hill'. This temple is associated with the Kurinji flowers, which carpets at hill sides and blooms once in 12 years. We made photography... More

When we visited, the place was going through renovation. There weren't too many people inside the temple. However, the view outside the temple is quite good. Can visit this place once and also visit the Chettiar Park nearby.

Its a small but nice temple. Lord Murugan is the main deity of the temple. There are a lot of Kurunji flower plants in the temple area. There is a nice view point outside the temple.
