Nice place to spend few hours. You need to wait for your turn for 6 member boat with boat man. Other option of boats with pedal option are quicker.

The day we visited Kodaikanal was super foggy. It was during this weather that we set out walking to explore the lake and its surroundings. From the sidewalk, you can't make out that the lake exists in such extreme fog/mist. But kudos to the boatmen...More

Do go! The view points are nice, if you can get around all the garbage. Really sad, because I think At one point it may have been a nice tourist destination. Everything is worn out and grungy.

The lake is sourrounded by shops, cycling, boating and many other attractions. You can spent good time there around 1-2 hours. Good place to be with family and friends.

we had boating with family .4 pedal boat costs 180 /half n hour. Seems to be bit costly. But enjoyed the ride.

Hi, You can even take govt bus which directly go to Kodaikanal bus station and then 5 mins walk to the lake. If you are looking for comfort, go for taxi. I took govt bus from Kodaikanal to Madurai.

Person will be there for row boat, you can hire bicycles and ride with your partner.
