Don't miss. Vijay Stambha is an architectural vendor - more than 9 storeys high. It has withstood the test of time and aggressions to destroy it and stands tall as a reminder of our glorious history. You can climb all the way to the top....More

This is an amazing 9 storied tower which is so beautifully and intectually crafted. Ever floor has sculptures of different religions. This tower was built as a symbol of victory by Rana Kumbha hence the name Vijay Stambha.

It struck me dumb. No photograph can remotely capture even a fraction of the beauty, the glory, the symmetry , the majestyand the sheer poetry of this grand edifice.

Gorgeous tower. This is certainly the highlight of the Chittorgarh Fort. Tall, artistic, and powerful. It's great for photos from all the directions and distance. I've imagined the view from the top as it's not allowed.

For those of us fed on a diet of "India was the world leader in this & that until some rampaging marauders from a distant country subjugated us & made us the the paupers we now are", such pompous boasts of our hoary past only...More
