The Museum is housed inside a Palace. Though the entry to the Museum housed inside the palace, was barred due to on going renovation, the palace on the outside is also very impressive. The palace provides a great back drop for photographs.

We were disappointed as this place is closed for renovation since a year. And nay take a year or two more. No point in wasting time by going all the way and get to see nothing.

Looks amazing in green plants backdrop, but unfortunately was closed for renovation work. Its the best and well maintained structure in the fort. After UNESCO heritage tag, a lot of changes are being made, which is certainly a great news for other history lovers.

No entry sign was there. Many people were working for re-construction. The ground in front of the museum building was open, but not for the museum. I hope the museum will reopen soon. Someone told me it's becoming a hotel.

This museum has a nice building, which can be seen from Satbis Deori Temple. Unfortunately, the museum was closed for renovation purpose when i reached there. The local person told me that it would open after 1-2 years.
