It is the place where lav and Kish tied the horse of ashvamedha Yahya, also has the well from where Sita mata used to take water for bath, should visit if you are on Amritsar.

Wonderful architecture to preserve ancient history - Birthplace of Luv-Kush, can be well visited with tour to Wagah Border be keeping at least 45 minutes extra

The architecture is definately inspired by the Golden Temple. A lot of money must have been spent on the renovation but it raises a lot of questions behind the story they tell about this temple. It is believed that Sita lived here with her children....More

Its also newly renovated. Easily reachable through amritsar. Its place where luv and khush were born.

This temple is excellent structure and peaceful place, Situated in the middle of lake with fountains on both sides it is a visual treat. The temple is dedicated to Valmiki. There is a small Sitamata temple and two huge Hanuman statues

the road was quite okay. it took us less than one hour to reach .we had a full day taxi so cannot help you about taxi fare .
