Being an Indian, I couldn't have given any lesser rating. Having said that, it deserves the rating. Without the zeal, passion and fervour on both sides the experience will be incomplete. First of all, our guide told us that on the Indian side, the Indian Army calls it the Attari Border and not the Wagah border. Wagah is the border... More

I visited wagha border in May. It's about 50-60 mins drive from Amritsar and the 2 way taxi ride should not cost more than 1100 Rs. No need to go through tour company as you are on your own once you get to the border. Ideally you should get there by 4:00 pm as there is a good 1.5 km... More

I think everyone should watch this closing ceremony, it's 100%worth coming in a regular tour instead of VIP pass , you feel so nostalgic. It made me cry , I am so happy that I came and watched it , you need to come little early to get seats , we were lucky enough to be seated properly and watch... More

It is a border of India and Pakistan. Here a march is done everyday. The march is lovely. Everyone should see it.

A lot of people might have seen videos of the ceremony on you tube so the novelty is only in first hand experience of the same. I don't recommend this for the old or physically challenged as there is a lot of hardship. one has to set out by 3-3.30 pm, walk a whole lot as well as wait for... More

This was a very different kind of experience I must say!... something you will not experience in any other location... Shouts of patriotism, synchronized marching and heart throbbing drum beats! What an experience... where you see & hear spectators on both sides of the border shouting out their calls of patriotism... It was both entertaining and amusing to watch... A... More

It's quite a unique experience . It's quite a show that forces put up from both sides. One big tip - go early for the best seats and carry lots of water .

It's a very strange event/demonstration of power. Good vibes. If you miss it don't feel too bad about it. But if you have time, do check it out. The Indian side had at least 3K people watching during low season. So I can imagine how it gets during high season. The Indians side even has a man cheerleader while the... More

It was a nice ceremony. It could be organized in a good way. People are dumped inside and in summer its horrible to sit for 3 hours in a small place. Old people cannot stay for long time, many old ones went early without watching. Water is available inside. Could not watch clearly due to crowd.

A great place to visit where you can see the BSF. To visit the place we need to get passes for seats from Khasa Border Post. It is usually said to be a place which doesn't need any ticket but it does need one for a seat in the gallery to see the Border ceremony
