Its worth to visit the Gumpha, but I wont recommend it to older people who face problems related to back and joints since it a gumpha you have to bend down and sit stand a lot, but for people who can do it its a must go.

Nashik is one of the pilgrimage in India. Lord Ram and his beloved wife Sita along with brother Lakshman used to live in the area of Panchavati in Nashik. Sita gumpha is the place where Sita used to live and the place where kidnapping of Sita took place by Ravan. Here you can find 5 dense banyan trees. Because of... More

Very famous story of ramayana is connected with this cave. It is situated in Panchvati area of nashik city. The cave is very ancient and maintended very good. Every person can go and pass from it. Panchvati name suggests total 5 banyan trees.

If you are going to go to this place thinking that this is the actual place where sita was residing then you would be in for a disappointment. The entire structure has been built quite recently, and the so called caves are completely made from plaster. The entrance has been purposefully narrowed down so that people (fools) actually believe that... More
