The cars are very ancient and definitely a watch place if you enjoy the history The best thing is the boat ride. You have to take a boat ride to reach the destination.

This, for me, is a must see. Dating to the 5th century, the caves and sculptures take you back into another world. Absolutely beautiful, and well worth the long hike from the dock and up the long stairs, which is lit up by lots of...More

Ferry ride from Gateway of India (mumbai). Takes about an hour . Definitely not a place to visit for people with mobility problem. The caves are pretty clostrophobic. Hand carved statue of gods. Enjoyable thing is only the ferry ride open air sea ride.
