Nice location.. dam was good.. cool climate.. boating is there to enjoy with family n friends.but very crowded .. traffic is high on public holidays..

The dam is surrounded by beautiful mountains. In morning its looks extra ordinary foggy atmosphere. No other place compare with this place. Boating and speed boating rides available. I tries speed boat

The Mattupetty Dam is a must visit place in Munnar. Its a great place with fantastic views. You can enjoy the boat rides which opens at around 9.30 am. Overall its worth spending time here and taking some great photos.

I had great time at this dam with speed boating!! All safety measures well maintained by the Kerala tourism and Rs.600 for a speed boat is really cheap for 15-20 mts ride on the dam. Courteous staff and boat operators will regulated definitely a place...More

The dam is beautiful. It is certainly one of the highlights of Munnar and no visit to this hill station will be complete without visiting Mattupetty Dam. Just wish local businesses like shooting balloons and other shanty shops all around the dam do not spoil...More

Boating charges are 500/- for 15 minutes. I would suggest to go for boating at the Echo Point than at the first boating point, since that place looks more serene..
