The Basilica of Bom Jesus church is one of a kind in India and is known for its exemplary baroque architecture. Built in the year 1594 and consecrated in 1605, this church coincides with the beginning of Christianity in India.

A beautiful church with the mortal remains of St. Francis Xavier should be a must visit in Goa. Situated in old Goa, you can have a feel of the ancient goanese culture.

This Church is a Real Heritage Building. This can be compared to some of the Old Temples of India built in Medieval Ages. The body of St Francis is the USP here. Its advisable to take services of a guide if visiting for first time.
