Butterfly Garden experience.

We walked from West End to this Attraction, which didn't take long, but waited for the place to be opened (apparently on a lunch break?) and no one showed up.

We tried to visit the attraction but all the butterflies were tragically killed! It was a real bummer.

Nice place, clean and our young guide was very professional and informative. I was allowed to carry Hannah around- a baby monkey.

We went to the Butterfly Garden with our guide fully expecting to get in. Imagine our amazement when we discovered it was closed, not a soul in sight, and with two cruise ships in port. I cannot recommend visiting this place since we couldn't get in..no one was around, everything boarded up. From it's description, it sounded quite nice.

a short ride into rural Roatan, with views similar to all other Caribbean islands. We did not see alot of Butterflies it wasn't their feeding time, the staff was pretty friendly and knowledgeable. Entrance fee !0.00 per person, we were introduced to quite a few of the indigenous animals species the monkeys are hilarious.

It was a lovely visit to make to this attraction. From the peace of the hotel and the business of the centre it was brilliant to be able to interact with the exhibits. Honduran rabbits, something from the ant eater family and plenty of macaws and turtles. Sadly there were only 3 varieties of butterfly - apparently their neighbour had... More

Nice butterfly enclosure, the trails were interesting, the guide was very knowledgeable about the mock ruins. This trail is not good for people with ambulatory difficulties. Monkeys swinging from the trees were intrigued by the visiting groups. Great trip out.

The woman who led the tour was super good - very informative and nice and good at answering questions. They had some challenges with the butterfly populations - so that part was not as impressive as it could be.

We enjoyed the Butterfly Gardens, but our guide was young and in a hurry. He rushed us through the gardens in less than an hour. We did see the little monkeys, and got to hold them. And held what the locals call a rabbit. It looked like a big Guinea pig. We saw iguanas in cages, and butterflies in an... More
