Very friendly and informative, and going searching on the beach at night for nesting sea turtles was incredible. They don't have a lot of resources, but they are using what they do have for the turtles, which is more important anyways. Recommend!

This is the reason to come to Monterrico. Experience releasing turtles at sunset (all hatched the previous night) into the Pacific Ocean. Release takes place every evening at 5:15pm. Costs Q10 per person!! I believe the season goes from October to February??
