The whole island of St Naum is fantastic place for tourists.Monastery is so special! If you can find guide to tell you historical facts please do. Breathtaking views from monastery terrace and few peacocks with funny names are bonus

This old monastery is a popular day trip. It is on the border with Albania and is semi interesting. The boat ride is enjoyable and there are a couple of restaurants there.

It is very original tour in the beautiful river. You are going to be able to see turtles living in the nature, but it is not guaranteed. Boater will tell You the stories about monastery and nature surroundings. It is really charming and romantic experience. If You are at St Naum, You just have to experience it.

Located on the lakeshore and with great view to the mountains and the lake. Marvellous buildings in total harmony with the enviroment. The presence of a great number of peacocks adds to the experience.

The monastery is now partially converted into a hotel. The place of an average interest. There is a sarcophagus of Saint Naum. They claim you can listen to his heart beating.

Situated on a hill overlooking lake Ohrid this monastery is named after the medieval saint who founded it although there are ruins on the site of earlier christian worship, from the 900's, including some interesting mosaics. Well worth a visit preferably with a guide.

Sven Naum is just an extraordinary place, a tiny tiny tiny extra small village at the top end of south east Macedonia, at the border with Albania. The monastery is pretty and offers nice view over the lake and both Macedonia and Albania. But I truly recommend you to take the path going west when you are in front of... More

The transport to the Monastery of Saint Naum is very well organized, you can enjoy a boat ride, go with a car or take a cab. Once you go there you will be amazed. Remarkable gardens, stunning views and beautiful peacocks walking around. We ate tasty fish at one of the restaurants and after took a ride with a small... More
