Covering more than 2.8 million square kilometers, this vast desert starts at the western banks of the Nile and continues into Libya and contains five isolated, but thriving, oases: Kharga, Dakhla, Farafra, Bahariyya and Siwa. There are magnificent rock formations that form from wind erosions. The colors change at times from the sun, a beautiful sight to see.

Simply amazing place to visit. We had an awesome time camping, skewing under the stars and exploring the White Desert. We felt completely safe. I can't believe we almost left Egypt without doing this! It was amazing.

I had a fantastic trip with Khaled and crew in September. They really went the extra mile(s) helping me out since I was traveling solo and off season. Not only did they come up with a trip for just me, they arranged for a car to pick me up from my hotel in Cairo and take me back to my... More

Genuine Bedouin guides sharing their culture and deep love of the desert they grew up in- what a dream trip this was ! I interviewed 8 desert guiding companies online before choosing Hamada's Desert Safari Egypt , picking him because he seemed to be the most sincere, is a genuine Bedouin who grew up next to the desert, and did... Egypt is more than just pyramids & Sphinx. Even if you don't like roughing it out in the wild, the opportunity to experience a night under the stars, in the middle of this beautiful landscape of white, limestone sculptures, is not to be missed. We were fortunate to catch the sunset at the white desert & to marvel at the... More

It's not easy to describe its beauty .. Simpy, it is where the color of chalk rock formations all around range from snow-white to cream, all have been created as a result of occasional sandstorms. It is known as one of the best locations for camping trips, especially on the full moon nights.

Probably one of the best trips I've done, the road took around 5 hours, we arrived at a rest house, had breakfast then started our journey, we passed by the black desert, the Crystal mountain, Akabat area, watched the sunset along many other sightseeings then we camped in the middle of the desert. I took a nap for a while... More

Camping in the white desert has a special feeling, being in a virgin environment and silence surrounds you.
