This church got us across the road and into the park where we got to see all the iguanas. So a double bonus.

The cathedral is centrally located with lots of shops and restaurants near by. Iguana Park is across the street. The cathedral has high ceilings and was under a lot of renovations inside and out, but it is still worth a visit

So much history and magnificent architecture!!!! Compared to the other religious monuments that I have had the privilege to visit this is one of the most beautiful of all the others I’ve seen. The historical content of the structure is everywhere!!!

The outside of this Cathedral is park-like, with Iguana's in the trees and in the pond; lots of places to sit; and restaurants to eat at nearby, after your visit to the Cathedral itself. The Cathedral is built beautifully with arches cascading towards the front...More

Architecturally beautiful Cathedral from the outside, but not so impressive internally. Never-the-less it is worth a visit, located across the road from Parque Bolívar.

The Catedral has a daily mass. It could not be nicer. They have mass each Sunday on the hour and the half hours.

wonderful for a short visit or Mass on Sunday. Across from the nicest park in the city. Do visit. Great for a brief respite, especially on a rainy day.

What a wonderful cathedral, great stained glass and murals. It was at least 90° outside but inside was very fresh with a breeze.

Nice cathedral but very similar to others seen in other cities in LatAm. Worth a visit if you're around.
