Nice place in Guyaquil

A lot was done to give the city a more modern face, and the Malecon is worth a visit. It's a nice walk of about 5 km both ways.

Nice walk alongside the river. Interesting to see what goes on. The river is an impressive waterway. Enjoyable hour.

Stopped at tourist shops along the way, colorful, good prices. There are some small museums too--sports history of local soccer teams and period artifacts from Ecuador's soccer highlights.

A very nice part of Guayaquil that everyone must see at least once. The malecón is very long and along the way there are very nice historic structures, restaurants, coffee shops, a little mall. It is vert well maintained and safe area to walk around and enjoy the day.

On a beautiful day in Guayaquil, this is a great place to stay outdoors and enjoy the gardens, the river walk and people watching. There are play areas for kids and peaceful garden settings with benches to enjoy. You can probably log in a few miles on this walkway.

Awesome views of the city!, loved the slow moving wheel and it's safety features as well as the climate controlled cabins, very convenient for taking pictures and videos......

It's a nice place to walk with family. Large park area. Go carts. Ferries wheel. Nothing too special but it's something to do to stay out.

The Malecon is a new wide walkway that goes along the river waterfront. It runs in front of several hotels and restaurants. A good way to see what the town is all about.

I did not visit any of the bathrooms so I do not know in what condition they were, but this is a lovely place for an evening stroll and there are even little kiosks to charge your cellphone so you can recharge to take even more awesome photos of the gigantic ferris wheel or the huge Guayaquil sign or of...
