A beautiful place which we passed several times. We also had a chance to swim there. Even that it seemed a bit scary to jump in, it was a great experience - at least afterwards. :-)

One of my best moments in the Cuyabeno region. We swimmed in the river and waited for the sunset. It was amazing, total silence and just the sky full of stars with full moon. Just perfect.

Most of the tours that run through Cuyabeno will bring you to Laguna Grande, and take you for a swim. Nicky Lodge also brought us near sunset and then we went searching for snakes and caimans with our flashlights!

I visited in the winter when the water was almost flooding its banks and been told it evaporates completely in the summer! Whenever you decide to go it's a must.
