Climbing up the tower costs money and is work, but not all that difficult. Once on top the climber is rewarded with a magnificent view over Trogir and surrounds, especially to the areas across the water.

VERY STEEP and high my legs went to jelly climbing this not good if you don't like heights and the first forty steps is really a one way system not good if you are claustrophobic either but it is worth the views!

The stairs are a little cramped and don't really allow room for two people to pass which is almost essential considering there is only one entrance/exit. Apart from that, it's worth visiting to see the view across the old town and from above the square.

Costs very little to get in and you'll be at the top in no time. The views are far and wide reaching around Trogir. Excellent for a photo opportunity or proposing to a loved one.

99% of the reviews and photos on this location are incorrect and posted to the wrong site. An easy mistake once someone put up the first wrong photo. St Michael's bell tower is a small tower on the other side of the island near the Kamerlengo fortress. it's a fraction of the height of the tower attached to St Lawrence.... More

I almost missed out on this, as my knees are not too good, and the top flight of steps looked a bit precarious, but it is optional, and you are rewarded for squeezing up through at the very top with the most stunning views! Don't go up if the clock is due to chime, especially at 12 midday, or you... More

I'm glad I read about this in advance because it's well worth doing & is the highlight of Trogir. Going up isn't a big deal but coming down (especially the first few metal steps) can be a bit scary. The views are gorgeous!!

Its a great climb, especially the last few stairs, on the way down, you need to turn around and descend backwards. The landing area on top is not that big, luckily we did not have too many people up there. The view up there is incredible, can't stop taking panoramic photographs. I am glad that I did it.

The views from here are something to be seen. The stairs going up to the Bell tower are a bit narrow but well worth the walk. You will not be disappointed.

Great place to see the rooftops and the €2.50 entrance fee is reasonable for the cathedral and tower but it might be helpful if they spent some of it on renovating the final four flights of stairs as we noticed they were a bit daunting for many visitors.
