This is a must do day trip if staying in Split. We went on the bus and spent a lovely day here. We returned to Split on the Bura Line boat, we got the last boat and where rewarded with the most spectacular sunset.

We didn't expect much when we arrived as we only had to spend the afternoon over there but after a couple of hours we realised that we need at least one more day as it was so much to do and see. One of the...More

It is a very warm and pleasant place. !!!! The center is small, clean! You can walk everywhere, easily. In addition, there many cheap reastaurants, good food. We lobed that place !!!

One of the most charming places I know. Very busy in summer but wonderfully tranquil and relaxed off-season. This year it even sported a (very) little „Weihnachtsmarkt“ - gorgeous.

Equally lovely by day and at night when the restaurants set out tables and chairs in the squares and courtyards of the walled city. South facing promenade where the cruise ships and super yachts pull up was best avoided for food as the quality of...More

You won't get lost in the historic old town because you can find your way out to the outer margins of the peninsula without a map. The town is small enough to explore in a day if you are in a rush but it has...More

If you are in Croatia you should definitely visit Trogir. It is pretty conveniently located near the airport in Split. The place is still run down after decades of the communist rule but it has lots to offer. The old town is located on the...More

Delightful compact old town to wander around. In November it is fairly quiet with few people so one can take ones time and examine the architecture.

Bus 37 between Split and Trogir passes the airport and leaves roughly on an hourly basis as I recall. Not sure about lockers in Trogir (it is a siple bus station). But if you have sufficient time, you may consider dropping... More
