While I don't know the exact hours, we went on a Sunday around 11am and while there were people up there, the walk up the stairs through the village was not like you were walking in a throng a people. Some here and there. When we reached the church, could have been 50 - 70 people up there but it was easy to find space to take pictures, enjoy the view and come down again, without being walking in a line of people. Good luck!
