Well worth the 40 kuna entrance fee - especially considering the sometimes ridiculous charges we fork out for similar experiences in the U.K. This place has so many historical layers it's like an onion.I presume the hallowed and serene atmosphere that permeates is from the...More

Breathtaking surroundings so take your camera. Very reasonable entrance fee. Worth climbing up the bell tower to get pictures of Porec, although it is a long way up and a bit creaky so no good if you are afraid of heights.

This was a place which we visited as a highlight of our trip today. So many beautiful things from the 4th century onwards. Our guide explained it all very well. Recommended.

Very beautiful church in Porec, listed in the UNESCO World Heritage List. There is also a great view of the city. I highly recommend visiting it when you're in Porec.

The church feels as if it has been there a long time. Beautiful mosaics and a nice place to reflect. If you have some extra energy try going up the tower for a fantastic view of the surrounding area....it's worth the climb.
