A small modest entrance belies the beauty of this historic collection of buildings, some ruins, but some very well restored with beautiful mosaics and very tasteful displays of artefacts. Well worth the 40 Kunars (£5) entrance fee.

A fantastic place to visit located in the old town area of Porec. The mosaics are incredible. The view from the bell tower is well worth the climb and the church itself has some remarkable artwork. It is well worthy of it's UNESCO world heritage...More

I wandered around the Basilica by myself. Lots to see and marvel at. The bell tower was very challenging but the views are stunning.

Breath-taking architecture dating back to the earliest Christianity. Some parts of it lack more detailed information on the exhibition but all together a must-see place in Poreč.

Dont know if there is a specific car park for the Basilica, but plenty of parking around the town, along the sea front wall
I have read that the basilica is closed starting in October. Is this information correct? If it is open , what are the hours? Thanks!
