Also known as the Church of St. Peter and St. Paul, it represents one of Osijek's landmarks. Its spire rises almost 300 feet and the red brick used for its construction makes if even more prominent. Built almost at the end of the 19th century,...More

During the war, in 1991, the concathedral was more than 100 times directly impacted by missiles. I was here two years ago with my friend. I was taking picture of each one part of this church. One man led us and talked about the history...More

Nearby some buildings with war scars (unfrotunately), this church stands to offer a orientation point in the city center. Possibly it is not the most beautiful church in the world, but to visit it during few minutes and admiring the stained-glass windows and other things...More

This historic church dominates the main downtown area of Osijek, so you can't really miss it. Interesting for its brickwork. On our visit, an organist was practising inside, which made it all feel very special.

When in the area, make sure you stop by this church. The architecture is pretty amazing and ornate. It was closed when we arrived, but the outside is worth it.

The cathedral is very high and the exterior also looks very nice. The interior didn't impress me so much. Located in a large square it is definitely a wonderful occasion to observe while rela0ing in one of the nearest cafe.

Worth the short trip for me to see. Impressive building to see, although only visited at night, so was unable to go inside.
