The observatory was immediately behind the apartment that we rented and we walked up there to take a look. We didn't spend a long time there but to be honest my impression was that it was a bit run down.

Interesting place. Located on the small hill in the Makarska Old City, close to the port. Another entrance is from the market-side "beach promenade" by the stairs, just cross the road near the food market ! After 3 non successful visits (windy and cloudy days)...More

We give our best :-) The next 30 days is recommendation to come from 21:30 because of the length of the day, and of course on the nice weather (not open on Sundays and holidays) :-) Best regards!
