The tower is interesting and gives lovely views over Korcula town. However, there is no house - it is just walls. It looks as if it was an amazing house cenuries ago. Time to restore it?

When you enter the birth house of Marco Polo you immediately face the stairs. There is nothing much to see in the actual house but the view from the top of it is great. I personally love these old stone houses.

If this house actaully was the home of the sailor Marco Polo it's definitely worth a visit. Apart from the interesting ruins of his house the views of Adriatic are nice.

Steep wooden stairs lead up to the top of the tower in the Marco Polo house. Great view from the top. History is documented in photos on the walls.

There is a small entry fee to go in, but the whole place takes no more than 10 minutes to go round and is a poor state of repair and smells very damp. I was not very impressed. The view is okay, but it's all...More

There isn't a lot to see at Marco Polo's house - it's a bit misleading to call it a house as you can only climb the tower and there wasn't anything else - unless we missed it! That said it must be done as the...More

There's very little to see here other than the view from the top. However, the view is much better from the adjacent cathedral tower!
