but whether the famous explorer was born here is up to you to decide. We know that the Venetians were here and that a family of that name lived in the house and thats about it. You might want to just view from the outside...More

It is an easy climb to the top of house to get a beautiful view of the island. Other than that, there really isn't much else to see.

The Old City of Korcula was buzzing with tourists on the day of our visit. Many of the tourists were to be found in the vicinity of the Marco Polo House. A little bit of research and interpretation showed that the connections between this house...More

Just one old stairway to the tower which can fit about 6 people with not brilliant views! bit of a waste of money.

You pay, walk up some steps and look out from the top. That's it. There is almost nothing to see. The bell tower is better.

There is nothing worthwhile to see here and it is a waste of 20 Krun. The cathedral bell tower for 25 Krun has far better views.

There is not much to see except a pile of rubble outside the house. We stayed outside as our guide told us there was nearly nothing to see. The real question to ask is was: has Marco Polo realy stayed there.
