This was a pretty cool place with a decent history. There are great views of the sea and Hvar Town. There is even a nice little cafe within the fortress. There are gift shops there, too.

Well worth walking around this fortress. Hvar is a stunning island packed with restaurants and cafes. A tiny beach and a tonne of history. This fortress is definitely worth exploring.

The Spanish Fortress can be reached by foot or by car/taxi. The steepest part of the climb is at the start in the town of Hvar where you take a series of steps to a path that gradually takes you to the fortress. The fortress...More

Great way to see the vies of the island. A bit of a walk, but worth it. If you're on the island, you might as well stop by and visit.
