This castle has been beautifully restored with a great deal of historic information. It's off the beaten path but worth a visit. Not crowded like so many other venues.

Nice castle with artifacts from area history. whole castle is renovated but interior is limited. View to the surrounding is magnificent.

IT is a nice castle from the outside and very famous landmark picture of local hills. Very nice to look at and on the hill. But the interior of the castle is limited.

The place is fully renovated and host few artefact exhibitions from different time periods, from 14BC up to 19th Century. Excellent opportunity to bond and lecturere Kid about past times, history and legends. Peaceful place with the Spirit of Veronika Desinicka

Real old castel, very nice view, interesting stories, but it isn't enough old furniture, that's my opinion

Unlike Trakoscan, this is a real castle built for protection in the Middle Ages. It is gradually undergoing restoration. The exterior is impressive but much of the interior is still empty. Most of the exhibits do not have explanations in any other language than Croatian.

This castle has been recently restored. The restoration is beautiful and the castle is in great shape. However,it lacks life. Most rooms are unfurnished and many signs in museum are in Croatian only. English,French and German would be a minimum. The views from the castle...More

Everything is laid out nicely in English. They have been working on it for over 20 years. A great place for a wedding just very narrow roads to get there.
