Absolutely loved this very pretty uncommercialised place. Lovely harbour with fantastic yachts. Lots of bars and restaurants and lovely beach and hidden coves.

To spend afternoon or evening it is worths to walk around the promenate which offers nice view to Dubrovink to see the church fom middle ages. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes in the marine where you can see astonishing yachts

Cavtat Old town is a nice place to just walk a look at the old buildings, houses, flowers, harbour with nice boats. Perhaps take a nice cup of coffee, glass of wine or dinner. Just a lovely place to be!

Hi Linda, Cavtat is a small place, the main harbour isn't very big and all the restaurants are over priced and pretentious! You have taken the right choice going self Catering, where ever you are in Cavtat the bus station... More

Sorry I can't help. We stayed in Lapad. Cavtat is near the airport, so I can't imagine it would be a fortune. Check on the Internet for taxi fares.

They ran from 9am to 5.30 in April and extend Times as season gets busier. There are at least 3 boats and often running every 15 minutes. By road it's a trek into Dubrovnik old town, by water taxi you arrive in the Town... More
