For great views and some climbing (easy) exercise it is great to walk over there. Great views over bay. Great mausoleum on the hill

Worth it for the views and history of why it was built back in the 1920's. Pity the poor artisans who had to haul all that stone and materials up 200 plus steps.

The climb to the top was good exercise, especially for the kids. The views over Cavtat were nice. The mausoleum felt a bit too expensive compared to what you get.

Whilst on holiday in Cavtat we decided to climb one of the many flights of steps to the old town. This was interesting so we decided to continue up the steep hill to the mausoleum and graveyard. It was an interesting place and well worth...More

We hiked up to the cemetery as it was part of the walking tour in our Insight Guide. This had given details of the elaborate interior of the mausoleum but sadly it was locked when we were there. There are good views from this neat,...More

It is a bit of a hike and it would be easier with a handrail. But don't let that put you off. I have rheumatoid arthritis and with the help of a mountain pole didn't find it too much trouble. The views from the top...More

There are around 180 steps or thereabouts. I was half counting towards the end! It's not a race so just take your time. I thought the views were great at the top and even on the way up. I always find cemeteries interesting. Spend a...More

This is definitely worth the climb. The views are spectacular and because it's a bit of a climb getting up there, a lot of people seem to wimp out and therefore it doesn't seem to really get very busy either which makes it quite a...More

We paid to enter the Mausoleum and read the story of why it was built. It is so sad. The walk up to the graveyard not easy, lots if steps but worth the walk.

Was a interesting visit BUT only for a few minutes, veiws were OK but think there were better else where. The CLIMB up the steps was hard, not possible for anybody with walking problems.

If you walk along the quayside past all of the flashy yachts, there is a restaurant at the very end. Turn right behind all of their outside tables, but before the church and walk up the pathway. You will then see steps going... More

If you go through the car park at the other side of town past the tourist office and head out towards the headland there is a path that leads to steps up to the cemetery. These are not too obvious and the cemetery is not... More
