We went to the monastary hoping to enter but when arriving we noticed it was not open to the public. Although we stayed around and after 5-10 min one of the three monks appeared through a locked door and with some charming from my Croatian...More

The Monastery is a short walk away from the port in Bol. However, we visited in May and everything was shut. Ultimately, we took a couple of pictures and then visited the beach which was 5 minutes away.

Overlooking a beautiful beach this Dominican monestry is in a location to be envied. Tranquil with the sea lapping at its heels. Worth viewing alongside a trip to the beach.

walked here by accident - so glad we did - we never went inside but its a beautiful building with a small graveyard you can go and look around - completely different to any graveyard you will see in UK

It's a historic building! Not open for everyone! It's surrounded by beaches! Both nudist and normal! Good for a calm walk

We wandered across, knowing it would be shut over the mid day period. The beaches either side are lovely and would highly recommend spending some time there and having a swim.

If you are keen on religious history, you may been fascinated, otherwise, it's passing time. There is a dark gothic feel to this place.

To be honest it was a little disappointing as the trip was over in 10 minutes, the monastery was closed to the public and we read the info and looked at the cemetery in a matter of minutes. A nice spot, very peaceful and tranquil.
