The lake surprises me at my first sight. It is as pure as crystal and I could see the sky and mountains clearly in the water. Cycling is the best way for this lake. The culture here is also unique and interesting to learn about.

My experience: Bought bus tickets (go and back) and the bus picked up all passenger around Lijiang old town.

I travelled there around 7 months ago and at that time they didn't have sleeping/night bus. Only mini-vans leaving Lijiang around 6am and the route is around 6 to 8h. As other option you can also check flight from Kunming... More
