Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Very beautiful temple on top of Taishan. Even if there is almost no foreigners visiting there, lots of information is also written in English, allowing you have a glimpse at the history of this temple.

This small Taoist temple is at the very top of Mount Tai. After reaching the Street of Heaven where it is the most crowded place, one still needs to trek up a distance to reach this temple.

Bixia Temple is on the very top of Taishan. Around the tiptop of the mountain, there is a fence filled with locks. You can buy a lock and get it engraved at two shops nearby. There is also a good luck bucket you can try to hit with a one yuan coin and another one with a bell you can try to ring from a distance of about twenty feet. The new attraction is surrounded by ancient monuments and a temple that is thousands of years old. This is the top destination for the many people who hike up Taishan but the journey is more rewarding than this spot at the very top. There are bigger, more beautiful temples, many stone carvings with poetry and sutras, and the natural wonders are even more impressive on this famous mountain.

You'll only be able to visit this temple if you are are climbing Mt Tai. So check out all the reviews there first! If you are climbing Mt Tai, make sure you stop here. It's right at the top of the long staircase , so it makes a nice rest stop before continuing up the mountain.
