We played Oxmoor Valley Ridge and Ross Bridge courses back to back. Playing 36 here was pretty easy as they're only about 5 or so minutes away from each other. The courses were both beautiful and the greens a bit more manageable for the average...More

Course is a pretty good layout. Greens are bent grass and in good shape. Fairways and other maintenance is not up to par with the rest of the trail. Would revist the trail any time, but not this site

Alabama's RTJ Trail is a golfing destination for many folks from out of state. So, it's gotta be on your bucket list if you live here! Fantastic test of your golfing skills.

We played the Ridge course on 4-9 and the Valley course on 4-11. The courses are quite difficult especially when trying to keep the balls on the green as they are hump backed and fast. It still was a great experience and I recommend it....More

We had two foursomes on the Valley Course at Oxmoor Valley on Saturday, 21st of April. We got behind two foursomes of ladies and had to wait 20 mins between shots. There were 4 foursomes on the 9th at one time because of the slow...More

I have only played the north half of the Trail but it is worth it. Inexpensive and great golf. Good staff and wonderful views. Valley is easier than Ridge.

We played this Friday, March 23. This is a very difficult course for women. I will never play it again. Additionally, the course conditions were not the greatest. Lots of mud, ground under repair, and bare spots. We were paired with another couple, and their...More

This RTJ course is magnificent. It was in excellent condition--even after a pretty good rain (cart path only). Played the Ridge course and it was a lot of fun and very beautiful. Lots of elevation changes. It seemed to play longer than the yardages--not sure...More

Be prepared to climb. Oxmoor Valley Ridge is a tough course that is challenging, but not fun. The terrain is hilly with tree lined fairways. You must keep your ball on the ridge fairways or be prepared for it to be lost. Access to tee...More

No red stakes unless there was a creek or pond. Anything going in you'll be lucky to find and almost impossible to get back into play.
