The 2016 season is upon us and this year we are adding a broad collection of daytime historic tours! Churches, the historic city center, a civil rights tour, theaters both here and past, an architecture tour...and of course, in the evenings the ever popular Birmingham Ghost Walk! The historic tours are themed by month and the Ghost Walk will continue to be a broad look at all the dark and hidden history of downtown.

An excellent way to get a sense of how Birmingham came to be. Who knew about the navigable underground river, or the night Liberace and Elvis were in the same hotel downtown?

Wolfgang Poe (yes that's his real name) gives one of the most entertaining and historically accurate ghost walks I've ever been on. It's amazing the bloody history of downtown Birmingham, and I'm not talking the 1960's either.

Loved this tour group. I went on both tours and took my boyfriend for his birthday on the 1st one. Fun to go by yourself and with friends. My boyfriend even got a photo of a ghost we think.

The tour guide, Wolfgang uses a cane to walk. The tour is a very comfortable pace with lots of stops and Wolfgang would not leave anyone....he's awesome! Tell him I said hello!
