the mueseum is renewed with many english descriptions. It is small but nice. Easy to visit if you have 1-2 hours. But not necessary when you visit "real" minority villages in the neighbourhood.

The museum has some very interesting exaples local embroydery - very finely done handiwork. Also a nice collection of antiques and room displays of Miao homes. No photographs allowed while inthe museum and no English translations of the displays. Takes about an hour to walk...More

When in Kaili, this museum must not be missed. There is a large collection of clothing, textiles and jewellery from the Miao community. It is far better than the Guiyang museum.
