Dropped in out of curiosity. It was very busy and pleasant with some lovely surrounding scenery. Some tethered monkeys were a bit of a no no for us.

If you like staring at a tree then you will love this. If you don't like staring at a tree then you will wondering why you are here. The highlight of this was the guy with the trained monkeys that you can take pictures with for 20 yuan

Costs 20 rmb to get in. The tree is 1400 years old and is very wide. But once you got in and looked at the tree for 5 minutes there is not much else to do really.

We were on our way to the moon hill when we stopped to have a look on the tree. We had to pay 20 rmb, not a lot but still, just to see it. It is very big and impressive but after all it's just a tree

Nothing interesting, just an old and large tree. You can see it from behind the water quite well so there is no need to buy a ticket and go to the other side to see it from a bit closer. There are barriers anyway so you won't touch it if tree hugging is your thing. A nice area to pass... More

One morning at Yangshuo, a lady farmer brought a Tour Catalog to us with a view of the Century Old Banyan Tree along the Yulong River. She had no Transport but offer to take us there by Public Transport (bus) which we agreed and would pay her a fee as Tourist guide. With a small fee of 10 yuan each... More

Massive, sprawling tree in national park Unbelievable yo say this tree has survived for over 1,400 years , and I am sure if it could speak, would certainly fill some volumes Very pleasant experience

I visited this place on my bike ride to the moon hill. Basically it's a very old and a very big tree, apparently 1500 year old. I would say it's quite impressive, but it would be better if it's not fenced off and having 100s of tourists walking around taking photos. The entry fee is 20 Yuan, which is not... More
