The show in chinese name is 印象刘三姐. It is a very nice show. Dancing and singing, showing to us the culture of Gam people (侗族) and their daily life. We bought the tickets from our guesthouse, not the VIP area but the seat and the...More

The location is nice, the show itself also not bad. However cannot recommend it to western people: 1. We pay double price as Chinese 2. Very bad organised 3. During the show the locals are so loud, smoke etc. Its a pitty.

The theater itself is already awsome. You can see a chain of beautiful mountains just behind. The spectacle is amazing and different from all spectacles that we have seen before. They do almost everything on the bamboo boats. It's really special. We took one tour...More

First of all, the dancing and the light show is just beautiful. The problem is that, understandably, there's nothing in English. So basically you're just staring at a two hour dance and light show, which is OK, but not for everyone. Second, due to local...More

Pro - The show was nice and very entertaining. The colors and the coordination were quite the sight. Con - For me the story was very difficult to follow. I felt the cost of 240RMB per person for B2 seats wasn't worth it. Also I...More

The place was very crowded and the show is nothing to rave about. Seeing the location and settings, I was expecting something better than the Macau dancing water show or the water shows in many other tourist cities in China. Traffic in and out was...More

We have attended the show with three small children. The story seems to change looking at some earlier reviews. We definitely enjoyed this year's show, although none of us really understood the story. But this big natural scene is truly amazing and you see hundreds...More

I adored this show, it was something very special, even though I went along half-heartedly expecting another tourist trap. All of the other Western tourists I met adored it too although I heard some Chinese tourists find it boring. It was really one of the...More
