Wow - and beautiful even if the Chinese do make an extremely poor audience. Note if you have young children or elders with you, the walk is long from the front gate to the theater. There are rides available so make sure to snag one right away if need be. If on a tour make sure they get you seats... More

Words really cannot describe this ...must be experienced. Getting to the show and securing tickets was a bit unsettling...but it was last minute, and worth every penny

Great attraction and light show which highlights the mountain backdrop. We visited in November when it was a bit cooler and was perfect....you are sitting outside for around 1.5 hours so be prepared especially during hot or wet weather.

This show started all the local culture and arts show in China. It was designed by famous director Zhang Yimou. Its based on the famous Guilin area story of Sister Lau however the show itself does not really follow the story. The show is visually amazing but like Zhang's movies tend to be slow. Just FYI they have this ridiculous... More

We went as part of an optional excursion from our tour. We were there at the end of December, and it was cold, just sitting there for the 1.5 hr. It was a 5 min walk from entrance to the seating area. There was ample room for people to pass through your seat to get in or out, and the... More

A theatre with the river as the stage, the mountains as the backdrop and 600 performers...absolutely incredible to experience. The only downside is the chinese audience disobeying all the instructions! (No cameras or flash allowed but the moment the lights went down 3000 cameras started flashing...do not leave before the end...10 minutes to go 1500 chinese walk out to get back... More

i intentionally travelled from Guilin for the night just to see this show and was not disappointed. I did not understand a word that was said or sung, but the sheer beauty of the scenery and the movements were mesmerizing. I sat in the b2 section which was reasonably priced and allowed very good visibility. My ticket and transportation was arranged... More

I saw this show over 3 years ago and was one of the best I've seen, comparable (but obviously quite different in some ways) to the water-themed shows in Las Vegas (Ka) and Macau (House of Dancing Water) so I was eager to bring some family along as they've never seen it. I remembered with the 'hill songs' there is... More

Though we couldn't understand what they were talking/singing, the natural stage and setting on the Li River are a grand spectacle. The show is about 75 minutes long and there are some quieter parts mixed in with some phenomenal acts. I believe there are over 800 performers and if in Yangshoo, its well worth experiencing.
