The West Lake Park, as the name suggests is a park there is a lake. The water of lake is very clean and have many beautiful lotus on the lake. The West Lake is very big and the park is also big. I did not expect to find a gem in this urban area, considering that a lot of the tourist attractions in the city are temples and small park, save for QinYuan Mountain. The west entrance may be crowded with people but as you gradually walk towards the south entrance, the area becomes more quiet and tranquil. A very good area... More

Nice place to relax and enjoy the sun - it does get very busy during the weekend and evenings. If you really wish to enjoy the space to its fullest allow yourself a day (during the week if you can)...

West lake park has nothing to do with the gorgeous wet lake in Hangzhou. This is a simple park, quiet, has some water lilies in the pond like structure but nothing more to offer. Ok to go and spend time in the evening if nothing better to do.
