Never let this opportunity pass you by! It was amazing watching the sunset and the sunrise on this mountain. I cannot even describe as it was just so amazing. This is something I will do again when my toddler is older so he can appreciate it.

Visited the mountain after an overnight rain. Saw the sea of clouds which was very lovely. A lot of walking with stairs after stairs at some locations. Was quite crowded during our visit as those living in Anhui were given free entry into the mountains. Allocate a few hours of walking up on the mountains to enjoy all the sites.

This was one of my most favourite hikes ive ever done (no cable cars used). 2hrs up via the eastern steps, 7hrs around the Xihai canyon, and 3hrs back down via the western steps. Along the way, i've seen some of the most beautiful scenery, with mountains and sea of clouds stretching far. There are thousands and thousands of steps,... More

These mountains are the most spectacular way to challenge yourself. I adored hiking mountains all over China, but these were a bit above the rest for their expanse and views. I preferred to hike up the short 4 km east side and down the long 9km (but really 13) west side. Pack light, stay at the hotel of your choice... More

Seriously go to this place, me and a few friends went in early December and it was amazing. few crowds, not too many 'sea of clouds' which made thew views even better (apparently its super rare to get a view that isn't covered in clouds'). The walk up the east route (we did the full route) took us about 5... More

Beautiful scenery greets you as you navigate the mountains using the well-built steps and paths. Highly recommend you take the Yungu cable car instead of Yuping for the much easier climb subsequently. You have to see Huangshan to really appreciate it yourself. A picture speaks a thousand words!

We decided to come to Yellow Mountain 9 months ago and planned everything, well we thought everything. From Dec 14th to the 21st the mountain entrance fee is waived for all the locals who live in Anhui Province. That means there were tens of thousands of Chinese swarming the mountain. We were shocked when we went to buy our bus... More

I spent three nights on Huangshan and stayed in 3 current hotels. It was a fantastic trip. First, I get here via a bus from the Huangshan City Bus Station, which is in Tunxi. I heard there are buses coming from the Huangshan Train Station in Tunxi as well. When I got off the bus at the end of its... More

Super for climbing, walking, photography and appreciate the mountains and rock formations! I was not so fotunate as it rained and poured that afternoon and certain ridea on the trams were closed. Even though I spent 5 hours, I am craving for more of it. Looks like I need to go back to this Gorgeous beauty.

We had day tour as part of our Sinorama tour of China. The tour bus departed our Huangshan hotel at 08:30 for a 1 hour bus ride to the Yellow Mountain City (Huangshan). Arrived at the bus parking lot where we transferred to a smaller shuttle bus for a ride to the base of the gondola. First our local tour... More
