I gave this place a 4* rank even though I didn't see too much of it due to the foggy and raining weather. I did a hiking up to the mountain and spend one night up there, the walking is fun and the accommodation in the mountain is expensive. But despite this it is a very bautiful place, one of... More

Wonderful experience. Mountains and valleys. Cable car great but not for anyone afraid of heights. Part of Sinorama Tour in December.

Checked this off my bucket list and it was worth it. I went for the New Years and it was still very crowded though it's supposed to be low season, I can't imagine how crowded it must get during spring and summer, be prepared for loads and loads of walking up and down the stairs. What helped me was I... More

I'm so thankful I went in late December and avoided the crowds because there was little to distract me from the stunning views all around me. Unlike other tourist spots, Huangshan is not a single view or spot you are trekking to but rather an entire expanse of gorgeous view after gorgeous view. Book an overnight stay on the mountain... All the peaks are accessible via a walking path and stairs. Yes, it can be tiring for one not in great shape, but if you're not in a hurry, it's a marvelous hike. The views meet expectations. It's sort of like visiting Zion park in the States. The crowds are the main negative. I went in Dec/Jan, so warm months... More

The Mountains are beautiful. The cable car ride is most scenic and breathtaking view. Overnight stay on mountain top hotel is recommended.

I was here on 22 Dec and the weather was great. No snow yet and temperature was about 11C. Views were great on top of the mountain, especially the Huangshan Grand Canyon. Lots of steps to climb, probably hundreds. Great workout!

Never let this opportunity pass you by! It was amazing watching the sunset and the sunrise on this mountain. I cannot even describe as it was just so amazing. This is something I will do again when my toddler is older so he can appreciate it.

Visited the mountain after an overnight rain. Saw the sea of clouds which was very lovely. A lot of walking with stairs after stairs at some locations. Was quite crowded during our visit as those living in Anhui were given free entry into the mountains. Allocate a few hours of walking up on the mountains to enjoy all the sites.

This was one of my most favourite hikes ive ever done (no cable cars used). 2hrs up via the eastern steps, 7hrs around the Xihai canyon, and 3hrs back down via the western steps. Along the way, i've seen some of the most beautiful scenery, with mountains and sea of clouds stretching far. There are thousands and thousands of steps,... More
