Visited as part of a tour group. I have seen salt flats before......but nothing like this, with the mountains , the changing colours, it was awesome.

Even just to unfreeze your toes, helped a great deal for the rest of the tour. What a wonderful experience to see the geysers, definitely worth getting up so early!

Not to be missed. Beautiful landscapes and not as crowded as some other places. Go at sunset, the refection of the volcanoes into the salt flats are amazing.

A crystal blue salt lake with amazing views. You can’t get very close to it, but there are several photo view points dotted around

Definitely you should go there. See the flamingos nearby, amazing sceneries, beautiful nature, one of the places I liked most in the Atakama desert
