It was amazing to see flamingos at this level of altitude; 4200m above sea level. Surrounding was also amusing with endless salt flat. One of a kind experience.

Easy to bundle a couple of amazing tours in San Pedro de Atacama area. We saw the geysers early in the morning and then headed off to reserve National de Flamecos. The park does a stellar job of letting you close enough but not too...More

Off course you got to have luck if you want to spot flamenco's from closeby but this is the same issue as on a regular safari. If you're lucky you can see them fly over and admire their beauty.

It’s quite a particular landscape and worth a visit. We didn’t get to see the flamingos as close as I thought though... Still, a nice place

So many flamingos! They look so cool! However, be aware, when it is cold, they are literally frozen in place until the sun has been out for long enough to defrost the water... so don’t scare them, or they will break their legs trying to...More
