We didn't go at sunset, rather drove ourselves. We went to the Valle de La Luna first, primarily to go to the salt cave. For those interested and not with a guide, it can be quite hard to find as the map you're given is pretty vague - the first car parking area you reach is the one with the... More

Much bigger than we had expected, with amazing scenery. It's easy to get here by tour, bike or car. Don't forget a flashlight to visit the cave - very reminiscent of Star Wars. The sunset view from the Great Dune is worth staying for.

I cannot say that sand dunes and rocks are not impressive, but if you saw desert before the special feature it offers is only the salty, white contours of certain places. These are nice, looks like snow. The cave should not be be part of the tour because of the frequency of claustrophobia amongst people. Who has, need to wait... More

Make sure you take water with you and some sunscreen - the sun is merciless. Spectacular sights, the old salt mine was very interesting.

Amazing and otherworldly landscapes, the best way to see it is rent bicycles and we spent 5-6 hours cycling there and back and just taking it slow and admiring the scenery and stopping off at all the spots. Better than rushing through on a tour bus with 20 other people. And on a bike, you have the places to yourself... More

We went by bike to valle de la luna and enjoyed it a lot. But after the half of the park, we got kicked out, because we didn't walk on an official path. As there was no sign, we didn't know that and were quite pissed to leave before the sunset. So if you go by bike: 1. it's hot... More

This is one of the most spectacular scenic place you will visit. They say its look the moon. Best place for horseriding and sand boarding. Photography is the best colours . Must visit

During the trip you visit several places. There is some walking required. Views were really nice, but in my opinion there was too much time spent at the last view point, you could get bored. After the dusk it gets quite cold, so take some long sleeve clothes. And when it's windy, there is a lot of sand moved by... More

This is definitely a must do if you are visiting San Pedro, it's super close to the town and you can get over there by renting a mountain bike (I did it that way), you can park your bike down below the mountain and start hiking to the top, you definitely must go to the top if you want to... More
