I highly recomend this place but on any circumstances do not book a tour. It's kidna far from Santiago and the road from half is terrible but the view is amaizing. You will see perfect blue lagoon circled by mountains. There are no toilets or...More

Unmissable! This place is a zone, so you can go in many places. We choose Termas de Bano Colina from Santiago

Amazing! Tour guide Simion was friendly and knowledgeable, highly recommend this tour operator and guide. We were taken to a family run locals restaurant on the return journey for traditional Chilean empanadas, they were so good. Emphasis on enjoying the Andes and having a more...More

Steep valley with many side canyons leading to the high Andes. Plan to take your lunch although there are many vendors selling food along the road.

Cajon del Maipo is around 2 hours far from Santiago. The last few kilomenters are quite challenging, but when you finally get there, you can enjoy a wonderful day and breathtaking view. It is quite windy there, so do not forget to take a coat...More

Not too far from Santiago. Driving up to el Vulcan there are easy walks to get you to a grassy plateau. More challenging walks can take you further afield. Great views of majestic mountains and the odd goat/horse.

We had a car this time and at last, we ended visiting Cajon Del Maipo. Is not that close since it took two hours from Las Condes but the trip worth every minute. The place is a beautiful Andean Canyon with excellent landscape and lot...More

Everything was very well organised. Our guide, Gabriel, was superb and very knowledgeable. The pick up time as prompt and the drive was very comfortable, stopping at notable spots for photos. Our group went right to the end of the road (many hours don't) for...More

We had a tiny (cheap) hire car & it was fine - but we did a fairly simple drive & we didn’t go off the main road/s If you are going to explore more off the roads then a 4wd would probably be useful

I managed to go there in a Suzuki Alto at the end of summer but a 4x4 would have definitely been safer and quicker.
